EUDAMED Development Timeline Extended to Q2 2027

The European Commission has announced a revised timeline for the development of EUDAMED, the European Union Medical Device Database. The new target date for full functionality is now Q2 2027.

This extension is due to a number of factors, including the complexity of the project, the need to ensure data quality and security, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
